Zarema Kasabieva

Vice-Rector for Strategic Enrollment Management, Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, New Economic School

Ms Kasabieva helds PhD in Economics and MBA. She has been working at New Economic School (NES) since its foundation in 1992. She studied at executive education programs at universities in Europe, the USA and Australia. Ms Kasabieva was awarded the qualification "Executive Coach in Developing Managers, Top Teams and Organizations" in 2022 by Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.

She is a Council’s member of the Charitable Foundation for Comprehensive Support of Adult Cancer Patients ‘Oncologica’; Ms Kasabieva also participates in various charitable activities, providing volunteer and expert support to a number of NGOs.

Ms Kasabaeva is a renowned expert on higher education management; models of university partnership with the state and business; university strategic management; higher education quality management and monitoring; interaction with students and development of relations with alumni; academic fundraising; endowments development and university promotion in rankings.
